Pre-Offer Personality Test Information

Test Publisher Attestation:

To be included in the database, a test must: (1) measure broadbased (omnibus) personality characteristics; (2) be lawful and appropriate for administration prior to a conditional offer of employment; and (3) have empirical evidence that the test measures attributes directly related to the POST patrol officer personality-based competencies.

The EEOC provides the following factors that will be considered when determining whether a personality test can be administered pre-offer:

In attesting that your test may be administered prior to a conditional job offer, you are confirming that your test satisfies all of the above listed criteria.

Having read the above, and pursuant to the authority granted me by the test publisher, I attest that the below test may be lawfully administered prior to a conditional job offer, that the test has been shown empirically to be job related, and that the test measures one or more of the POST patrol officer personality-based competencies.
